RESISTANCE

1. Resistance is the opposition to the flow of electric charges in the circuit.

2. The relationship between resistance, current and potential difference in a circuit can be expressed as follows:

Resistance = Voltage / Current

3. SI. unit for resistance: Ohm 

4. A resistor is an electrical component which can be used to resist the flow of electric current in a circuit.

5. The total resistance in a circuit is affected by the arrangement of the resistors in the circuit.
