As the media scene is a fast changing industry, it has to constantly renew itself to stay relevant to attract viewership and help readers make sound judgments of the events happening around them. The media has to be sensitive when reporting on certain issues, to remain accessible and report objectively. I believe that people would gravitate towards objectivity but only time will tell whether viewership preferences will change over the years. You can read more about this issue which was reported here.
