1. In a fast-paced modern society, leisure is important as it could serve as a distraction from a mundane and routine life.

      1. MedicalXpress, a reputed medical website recently published an article which outlined the many benefits that leisure activities, such as playing sports, engaging in gardening or even playing card games could bring about.
      2. These benefits include, enhancing the immune system, improving flexibility, improving memory and reducing stress. All of these are important to ensure the overall wellbeing of an individual.
